Kingston and the Islands MPP Candidates to attend Green Energy Field Day event this Saturday at Wolfe Island

What:
Provincial election candidates for Kingston and the Islands, John Gerretsen (Liberal party) and Robert Kiley (Green Party), will be attending the "Celebrate New Energy on Wolfe Island" event this Saturday, September 24th.
The event also includes a kite flying competition, a children's art show, music, solar oven building, farmers market, free lunch, and business showcase.
The Wolfe Island event is part of Ontario's first province-wide, "doors open" Green Energy Field Day, hosted by the Ontario Sustainable Energy Association ( www.ontario-sea.org).
Green energy projects are being showcased across the province, in cities such as Aurora, Burlington, Caledon, Cobden, Hamilton, Orangeville, Reaboro, Sault Ste Marie, Scarborough, Smithville, Toronto, Windsor, and Wolfe Island-Marysville.
Scheduled events range from biogas facility tours to a photovoltaic design and installation course.
