The following speakers will be available for interviews:

Dr. Pesch co-founded the German Wind Energy Association (BWE) in the early 80’s, set up its local office in the state of Baden-Württemberg and served as Chairman of the state organization of BWE and on the national board of BWE. He is now the managing director of fesa, which has developed wind, solar, and bio projects. All fesa projects are citizens’ participation projects.

Mr. Gsänger has been Secretary General of the World Wind Energy Association since 2003, and has managed the organization since its foundation in 2001. Under his direction, WWEA has become the voice of the wind sector worldwide, with 430 member organizations in 93 countries to date, amongst them the major national and regional wind energy associations.

Dr. Dean Jacobs

Dr. Jacobs is the Consultation Manager for the Walpole Island First Nation (WIFFN). He is a former Chief of the WIFN and Director of the Walpole Island Heritage Centre.
