World Wind Energy Conference 2008 to convene in Kingston, Ontario

Conference will deliver an international, national and local perspective on renewable power policy and climate change


(Kingston, Ontario) Next week, the World Wind Energy Conference 2008 will take place in Kingston, Ontario. Confirmed keynote speakers will include Dr. David Suzuki, Dr. Hermann Scheer, and Ontario Ministers, Hon. John Gerretsen (Environment) and Hon. Donna Cansfield (Natural Resources). Core conference features will consist of presentations on technology advances, policy innovation, governance, stakeholder engagement, and a series on Community Power.

June 24 to 26, 2008 (pre-conference workshops begin on June 23 at 8:30 am)
